Another Kyle Petty Rant!

When is this gonna end?!

Kyle Petty made the Atlanta race with a 186 qualifying speed?! Five cars that didn't "qualify" were at least one mph faster than Petty, but because of the Kyle Petty Rule couldn't make the race.

It is really time to go back to the old qualifying . You get in if you're fast enough.

1. Quit using Kyle as the attention grabber,or should I say Petty. Ive been a stock car fan for 40 years,and I raced,we ran well and the very best we could start after qualifying heats was 13th and yet tracks would guarenty us double tow money to show up to shows on long weekends. If Dale Sr. and Jeff Gordon both screwed up thier qulifying laps and only one got the past champions provisional I'd like to hear the screaming.I am a race fan of over 40 years and there are those who's names the sport needs.My wife says that if Kyle never wins another race (likley)it does'nt mater she's a fan, I say there are certain names that made this sport what it is Pearson,Petty,Allison,Fireball,Yarbourgh,it could go on and on.As a racer the 35 thing bugs me at times,but could yo imagine if the Packers didn't even get to play because of a bad few years.

2. Kyle Petty earned the right to be in the Atlanta race. The name speaks for itself! Kyle is amazing and people just need to give credit when it's due. I certainly can give him the credit of being a awesome Poker Player! Can't wait to hang with him in the Atalntis this fall for the most elite and exclusive Poker Tournament!
