Stewart wins with Kyle Busch finishing a hard fought second. The Nationwide series kicked off it's season opener at Daytona with Stewart taking home the top honors but it didn't come easy at all. Stewart had to hold off a charge from Kyle Busch and Dale Earnhardt jr. Kyle led a lot of laps before settling for 2nd. It was probably the most hard fought second place finish in recent memory. I couldn't believe how many blocks he pulled on not only Martin Truex and Dale Jr, but also his teammate Tony Stewart. In the post race press conference he said, "what else am I going to do? ...That's what you have to do to win in these restritctor plate races." Truex had a legit shot to win the race, however a late race pit stop mistake put him back a few positions and he just ran out of laps. All in all the race went by extremely quick and allowed the cars to really get strung out. But the end did not disappoint with numerous lead changes and the eventual pass for the lead with three to go. Kyle Busch keeps the streak going, in the past 7 NNS races he has not finished worst then 2nd.
